I'm a newbie but this gym was perfect. Went on a weekday, parking was ok but gets hard to find in the evening/late afternoon. Staff were nice, the ebt discount is absolutely amazing. The place was very clean, not much chalk powder on the ground. There is plenty of cubbies for personal items. Even showers upstairs!

This was my first experience at a bouldering gym, and it was a fantastic one! Everyone (not just the staff, but the members too) is friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home trying V0, V1 and V2 routes and fumbling the bag on the V3 and V4 ones. There is liquid chalk and other minor things that you can use in the front desk. You can also rent special bouldering shoes from them and they even have day passes for someone who may not want to commit to a monthly membership. Will definitely be back.

Love it! Favorite touchstone gym in all of LA. I think the biggest strength here compared to the others is accessibility and space. Hollywood boulders feels much larger and nicer to beginner climbers like me (VB - V3)
